Tenby North Beach

Tenby North Beach is a sheltered, picturesque stretch of sand set beneath dramatic cliffs and overlooked by the town’s historic walls. Its calm waters and gentle slope make it especially popular with families, while the golden sand is ideal for relaxing, paddling and building sandcastles. At low tide, rock pools appear along the shoreline, adding to its charm and appeal for younger visitors.

The beach is easily accessed from Tenby town centre and offers lovely views across Carmarthen Bay towards Monkstone Point. With nearby cafés, toilets and facilities close at hand, it is a convenient and enjoyable spot for a seaside visit. Dogs are not allowed on Tenby North Beach between May 1st and September 30th each year, but are welcome off-lead in the winter months (October 1st to April 30th).  If you're looking for a dog-friendly beach in Tenby then head to South Beach instead.

Parking

The most convenient parking is at North Beach Car Park on Gas Lane (off Narberth Road), which has 285 space, including 12 disabled spaces.
