The beach is particularly family-friendly, with lifeguard services available daily from 10:00 to 18:00 during the summer months, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
Accessible via a wooden walkway suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs, Tenby South Beach is equipped with essential amenities, including public toilets with baby-changing facilities and a café offering snacks and refreshments. From May to September dogs aren't allowed the area of the beach to the left of the South Beach car park access under the cliffs, however, the majority of the beach allows dogs year-round, making Tenby South Beach the most dog-friendly of Tenby's four beaches.
