Tenby Castle Beach

Tenby Castle Beach is a small, sheltered cove tucked beneath the historic ruins of Tenby Castle. Backed by dramatic cliffs, the beach has a peaceful and enclosed feel, with golden sand revealed at low tide. Its central location makes it easy to reach from the town centre, and you'll find a cafe, toilets, and other facilities on the slipway to the beach.

The beach is popular with families and visitors looking for a calm spot to relax, paddle or explore rock pools when the tide is out. Dogs are not allowed on Tenby Castle Beach between May 1st and September 30th each year, but are welcome off-lead in the winter months (October 1st to April 30th).  If you're looking for a dog-friendly beach in Tenby then head to South Beach instead.
