About

Pobbles Bay is a secluded sandy cove tucked between limestone cliffs and dunes just east of Three Cliffs Bay on the Gower Peninsula. At low tide the sands stretch out to connect with neighbouring beaches such as Oxwich Point and Tor Bay, offering a peaceful escape and dramatic coastal views. The walk from the Southgate car park through Pennard Golf Club takes around 20 minutes, rewarding visitors with a quiet spot seldom crowded.

There are no facilities on the beach - no toilets, cafés or lifeguards - so you’ll need to bring supplies. Swimming is only advised at low or incoming tide due to strong rip currents at high water. Explore coastal paths north through Pennard Burrows or east over the cliffs to Hunts Bay. Pobbles Bay is ideal for walkers, nature lovers and anyone seeking an unspoilt and hidden gem of South Wales.

Dogs are welcomed on Pobbles Bay throughout the year.
