About

The Gavin and Stacey TV Locations Tour of Barry Island is a 3½-hour guided coach tour that takes fans behind the scenes of the much-loved British comedy. Travelling aboard a replica of Dave’s original coach from the show, the tour offers a fun and nostalgic journey through Barry Island and the surrounding area.

The experience begins at Barry Island railway station, where guests meet their guide and board the themed coach. Along the route, visitors get to stop at a variety of iconic filming locations featured throughout the series. These include Marco’s Café where Stacey worked, the amusement arcade with Nessa’s famous chair, and the homes of Stacey, Bryn and Gwen. You’ll also visit the church where Nessa nearly got married, and the hotel that doubled as the Dolphin pub in the wedding scenes.

Throughout the tour, a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide shares behind-the-scenes stories, fun trivia, and insights into the characters and filming process. Fans can relive their favourite moments while exploring the real-life locations that brought the show to life.

The tour ends back at the Barry Island seafront, giving visitors the chance to enjoy the beach, grab an ice cream, or revisit some spots at their own pace. While not wheelchair accessible, the tour is suitable for most and offers plenty of photo opportunities.

Perfect for die-hard fans and casual viewers alike, the tour offers a unique and entertaining way to experience the charm and humour of Gavin and Stacey in the very place it was filmed.
