Mozart’s Concerto for Flute and Harp brings a complete change of atmosphere. Bright, graceful and full of charm, it highlights the shimmering combination of two instruments that rarely share the spotlight- creating a sound world that’s instantly appealing.
The concert closes with Beethoven’s much-loved Pastoral Symphony, a warm and joyful celebration of nature. From gentle streams and birdsong to a lively village scene and a dramatic storm, the music paints vivid pictures before finally settling into a feeling of calm.
Together, these works create an afternoon that’s easy to enjoy, full of character, and perfect for anyone looking to slow down, explore something new, and savour a moment away from the rush of everyday life.
