Willow Springs Campsite, Waterfall Sauna & Afan Rainforest Alliance

Willow Springs is a small, eco-friendly campsite and wild natural sauna set in the heart of Afan Forest Park near Glyncorrwg, in the Neath Port Talbot valleys of South Wales. Surrounded by forest and abundant wildlife, it combines a peaceful back-to-nature stay with a touch of countryside wellness.

Camping and glamping

Guests can pitch up on one of ten private, non-electric grass pitches for tents and campervans, or book a cosy shepherd's hut for a comfortable glamping experience. On-site facilities include family-sized bathrooms with hot showers, a drying room, a washing area and a lounge, with BBQs and campfires permitted and dogs welcome on a lead. Trails lead directly from the site into Afan Forest Park, making it a favourite with mountain bikers, gravel cyclists and walkers, while the Gower Peninsula and the Brecon Beacons are both around an hour away by car.

Waterfall Sauna

Willow Springs is also home to Waterfall Sauna, open to campers and outside visitors alike, with private sessions available for small groups in a tranquil forest setting. It makes a relaxing way to unwind after a day on the trails, and is a genuine draw in its own right for anyone seeking a countryside wellness experience in the Afan Valley. Booking ahead is recommended, as sessions are held at set times for private groups.

Afan Rainforest Allaince

Llwyn Y Ffynnon farm includes a pocket of temperate Atlantic rainforest. The Afan Rainforest Alliance CIC was setup to restore temperate rainforest in the Afan Valley and provide free education to local primary school children in our Nature Garden. Coming and get involved with community volunteer days to help us protect and expand this precious habitat.
