About The Wain House

This old stone barn continues a 900-year tradition of providing shelter, dating back to Llanthony Priory next door. Set amidst the stunning Black Mountains in Brecon Beacons National Park, it offers a perfect base for walking and mountain activities.

The bunk barn accommodates sixteen guests in three separate sleeping areas, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, hot showers, heating throughout, and a cozy wood-burning stove in the dining area. Nearby pubs serve real ale and bar food. Easily accessible from the M4 and M5/M50 junctions, it offers a remote feel while being just an hour from major motorways.
