About Cwm Ivy Cafe & Crafts
Cwm Ivy Cafe & Crafts is a quaint cottage café and craft shop set in gardens on the quiet northern edge of the Gower Peninsula, near the village of Llanmadoc. It sits right on the Wales Coast Path, around 200 metres from the Whiteford Beach car park, with stunning views stretching across the Loughor Estuary and its salt marshes. It's a firm favourite with walkers coming off Whiteford Sands, and an ideal stop on the Whiteford Point walk whether you're setting out or heading back.
The café serves a good selection of sweet treats and lunch options, and on select days seasonally and at weekends you'll also find "Griff's Pizza" with his wood-fired pizza oven in action — you can watch Griff shape your pizza and slide it into the flames, then enjoy it fresh just a few minutes later. Alongside the food, the adjoining craft shop stocks a range of locally handmade gifts, so you can browse while you refuel. With its cottage garden setting and sweeping coastal views, Cwm Ivy Cafe & Crafts is a welcoming spot to relax after a walk along the Gower coast.
