Amelia Trust Bunkhouse, graded 3 stars by Visit Wales, is just a short drive from Barry (of Gavin & Stacey fame), the breathtaking South Wales Coastal Path, and the vibrant city of Cardiff. Sleeping between 4 and 30 people, it’s ideal for scouts, guides, schools, clubs, youth and faith groups, as well as family getaways. The bunkhouse offers budget-friendly accommodation in a setting that’s both educational and inspiring, with access to the Trust’s care farm and its surrounding woodlands, animal encounters, nature trails, and adventure playground.

Guests can enjoy the use of a commercial kitchen, spacious lounge/diner, large boot room, five dorms of various sizes, and a private en suite leaders' room. Outside, there’s plenty of parking for minibuses, picnic tables in the woods, an on-site café, BBQ, and cob oven. Additional facilities such as a sports hall and field study centre are available for hire. All proceeds support the Trust’s work with children who struggle in mainstream education - so every stay helps make a difference. Just bring your own sleeping bag!
