The marriage of Duke Theseus and Hippolyta is at hand, but first there is the slight problem of the tangled relationship of four young lovers to deal with, and a celebratory entertainment for the local tradesmen to rehearse. Then there is the supernatural world which surrounds them, which is also experiencing a spot of bother of its own...
